WARHAMMER WWII AND SAWS

SAWS has a regular game group that gets together once a month to play Warhammer WWII, a set of fan-made mods for Warhammer 40K that allow you to play WWII battles.  We have played in Sicily, Caen, Monte Cassino, Ulianovo, as well as other glamorous locales.  Below are photos from a couple of our games. Tiger attack in Sicily.  This game was meant to represent a German breakthrough, with the allies hoping to stall the Tigers.  In the end the German armor won out and they easily escaped through the village and across the board.

North Africa.  British and American forces attempt to hold a village and road junction against a larger German force.  In this game the allies were actually successful.
