THE SAWS CHALLENGE VI! SEPTEMBER 15-17, 2006!

The SAWS Challenge is funded by a few generous sponsors. Each has generously donated money, prizes, or both, to help make the tournament a success. We definitely would not be able to run this event without their support, and we thank them for their help.

Sponsors for the 2006 SAWS Challenge:

Our main sponsor for this year's Challenge, Port City Games is a young game store in the Stockton area. Owner Robert Hambrick has been a SAWS member for many years now, and represents the club well wherever he goes. If you get a chance to play a game with Robert, we highly recommend it! And if you are in the Stockton area (or surfing the web), check out his store as well. :)

Gale Force 9 produces all sorts of cool and useful hobby aids for the games we love to play. Custom movement trays, tokens and markers, templates, even terrain is all there on their website. Check them out today and see what they have. These guys have been strong supporters of the whole IndyGT circuit for the past couple of years, and most of these events (including the SAWS Challenge) receive trophies from them. SAWS will have some Gale Force 9 product available at the tournament, and we'll even be giving away some of their goodies in our famous door prize drawings!

Double E Gaming Supply is owned and run by the Echols brothers, members of SAWS and also representative of CATS. Under the name Double E Gaming supply, these guys produce some out of this world terrain and tables! The club has purchased some of their tables for the SAWS Challenge, and they are giving us a generous rate on renting a number of others, so the bulk of our tables will be 'Games Day quality' for the tournament this year! All tables built by them will have their logo painted on the side, and they take custom orders, so if you like what you see (or have an idea that you were scared to try on your own), let them know. Both Bryan and Shawn Echols will be playing in SAWS Challenge V, and I'm sure they will be happy to field any questions you may have.

Great Escape Games of Sacramento has stepped up and generously volunteered to donate prizes for our two 'mini-tournaments' on Friday evening. So if you play in our Flames of War or Warmachine tournaments and win a prize, Gary Lane and Great Escape are who you should thank!
